Accommodation
Block reservations for accommodation at the Brentwood Apartelle have been made at 20% discount rate to all rooms, condominiums and townhouses.
Special discounts have also been negotiated at Mountain Lodge, Baden Powell Inn, Villa La Maja, Firm Vacation House (condominium units) and Hotel Reneca.
Reservations should be coursed through NSO to avail of the discounts at the specified accommodation places. Reservations should be made in groups and should indicate the number of persons by sex. Include the inclusive dates you would like to be booked in a particular accommodation venue. The date and expected time of arrival in Baguio City will also be important information.
Meals
Morning and afternoon snacks, lunch and dinner shall be served on June 15, 16 and 17, 1999. In addition, midnight snacks will be served on June 16 and 17 as there will be affairs scheduled at night. A total of six snacks, three lunches, three dinners and two midnight snacks shall be provided during the convention. Meal tickets corresponding to each of the meals to be provided on June 15-17 will be given to each participant. Each participant should be responsible for these meal tickets so that loss of any one ticket should be reported immediately to the registration counter.
Meals outside of the provisions should be taken cared of by each participant on his/her own.

The Philippine Rabbit Terminal in Avenida, the Dangwa Transit Terminal in Sampaloc and the Victory Liner in Pasay City, are the ones considered closest to the pier and domestic airport.
Please note that there will be no hired buses or other vehicles which will be stationed at the pier or airport to transport participants to Baguio City because of variations in the date and time of arrival from the respective origins/official stations.
From Pier to Philippine Rabbit: 
Take a public utility jeepney (PUJ) going to Divisoria (P2.50). Alight at Divisoria.
Take another PUJ going to either San Juan or Cubao. This PUJ passes along Claro M. Recto. Alight at Avenida St. which is perpendicular to C.M. Recto.
Cross Claro .M. Recto St.. Walk towards the location of the bus terminal. It is near Odeon Theater, opposite Jollibee and beside Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Restaurant.
A taxi from pier to Philippine Rabbit Avenida terminal will cost less than fifty pesos.
From Pier to Dangwa Transit: 
Take a public utility jeepney (PUJ) going to Divisoria (P2.50). Alight at Divisoria.
Take another public utility jeepney (PUJ) going to Quiapo (P2.50). Alight at Quiapo
Take another PUJ going to Blumentritt, Dimasalang or Dapitan.
Alight right after crossing Governor Forbes St.. Dangwa Transit Terminal is located. at Dimasalang St. cor. Laong Laan St. which intersect with Governor Forbes St..
A taxi from pier to Dangwa will cost less than one hundred pesos.
From Domestic to Victory Liner: 
Take a bus going to Cubao/Monumento (P2.00 for ordinary bus and P7.00 to P8.50 for an aircon bus) in front of the Domestic Airport. The bus passes by the Victory Terminal along EDSA in Pasay City.
A taxi from the airport to the Victory Terminal of Pasay City will cost less than one hundred pesos.
All buses bound for Baguio City pass by the Baguio Convention Center (BCC). Bus terminals of all bus companies, except the Dangwa Transit, are located in Governor Pack Road, the same street location of the BCC. Dangwa Transit Terminal is located along Rajah Soliman Street, at the back of the Baguio Center Mall.
For participants taking the Dangwa bus shall take the PUJ across the Baguio Center Mall and request the driver to pass by BCC for P2.75 jeepney fare; or take a taxi for about P20-P25 taxi fare.
For those taking buses other than the Dangwa bus, take the following rides to the BCC, depending on the time of arrival in Baguio City.
Arrival Time at Bus Terminal:
After 7 pm and before 7 am - From the bus terminal at Governor Pack Road, take a taxi going to BCC. BCC is just a few meters walk from the bus terminal.
After 7 am and before 7 pm - Take PNR Jeep available at the Bus Terminal for P2.75 and request the driver to pass by BCC.
A representative of the convention secretariat will be stationed (24 hours) at the Baguio Convention Center even as early as June 13, 1999. Participants arriving at the BCC can contact the convention secretariat anytime for information and other details/instructions.
For the duration of the convention, June 14-18, 1999, all public utility jeepneys in Baguio City have been requested by NSO-Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) to include BCC in their route.

Shopping and Eating Out
Many shops can be found along Session Road and other nearby areas of Baguio City Center. They usually start business from around 8:00 am or 9:00 am and most of them stay open until 7:00 in the evening. Handicrafts, food preserves, vegetables, strawberries and other Baguio products can be found in these shops. There is also the Good Shepherd Store where one can buy peanut brittle, strawberry jam and ube preserve. Prices in market stalls stores are not fixed and some may give discounted prices.
Restaurants can be found in many places in Baguio City. Usually, restaurants and other eating-places charge a value-added tax of 4%. Some of them charge an additional service charge in varying percentages ranging from 3% to 10%.
Tour
Two half-day tours within Baguio City and to Balatoc Mines in Itogon, a nearby town of Baguio City, are arranged. A fee of P130 inclusive of packed lunch will be charged for the Baguio City tour. A fee of P230 inclusive of the 100-peso entrance fee and packed lunch will be charged to those joining the Balatoc Mines Tour. Participants who wish to join the tour should sign up and pay the fees at the registration counters on or before June 16.

Weather and Clothing
Baguio City is the summer capital of the Philippines. It has an elevation of from 4,500 to 5,000 feet with a minimum temperature of 16.5 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 25.1 degrees Celsius. The weather in Baguio City is unpredictable. It is advised that jackets, coats and umbrellas be brought.
The convention venue is not air-conditioned.
