The theme of the 5th National Convention on Civil Registration is "Managing the System of Civil Registration for the 21st Century"

The two-fold objectives are:

• To discuss ways and means of making the system of civil registration capable of functioning under the environment of modernizing which is expected to dominate the 21st century, and

• To provide a forum for sharing & exchanging of ideas and experiences among the stakeholders of civil registration system, in the country.

Venue of the Convention   

The Fifth National Convention on Civil Registration which is organized by the Office of the Civil Registrar General in coordination with the local civil registrars will be held on 15-18 June 1999 at the Baguio Convention Center in Baguio City.
