Contests during the convention

A. MR. & MS. CIVIL REGISTRATION:

There will be a "Mr. & Ms. Civil Registration" contest on the second night of the convention, June 16, 1999. This contest is open to all civil registrars and other employees of the local civil registry offices nationwide who are participants of the convention. This will be the second contest to be held, the first one being in Davao City during the fourth convention on civil registration.

Special awards will also be given out. There will be winners to be selected for the Mr. & Ms. Talent. This award shall be given to one male and one female contestant who will be adjudged as the best among all those who will display their talent. A Ms. Photogenic award will also be given. B. IMAGES OF MOBILE CIVIL REGISTRATION PHOTO CONTEST:

A photo contest will be held during the convention. This contest is open to all civil registrars and other employees of the local civil registry offices nationwide who will be attending the convention. However, a pre-selection of the photograph entry should be done prior to the convention as there should only be one entry per province. Images of mobile civil registration should be depicted in one 8" x 11" colored photograph. The entries shall be judged by the Baguio Press Club. Cash award awaits the winners of this contest.

C. RAFFLE PRIZES

All participants should bring with them to Baguio City their authenticated copy of their birth certificates. Raffle prizes based on information and entries in the birth certificate shall be drawn during the convention.

D. CIVIL REGISTRARS' AWARDS NIGHT

Like in the previous conventions, the third night of the convention shall be the awarding of civil registrars for excellent performance. This is scheduled to be held on the third night, June 17, 1999.
