  • It is best to negotiate with the tricycle drivers before starting off to any point of destination.
  • Traveler's Checks & Foreign Currency Exchange service can be availed of in some banks in Puerto Princesa City. Not all establishments accept credit cards Visa and American cards are generally acceptable 220V.
  • Please coordinate with the Secretariat prior to your visit to Underground River to arrange Permits from the Office of Puerto Princesa Subterranean River & National Park.





    •      Transportation can be arranged with the hotel, from the time you arrive at the Puerto Princesa Airport of Wharf. But not all hotels have this facilities to bring you in your respective place of accomodation
         Travel with the City Proper of Puerto Princesa is usually by Tricycles & Multicabs. A trip to most restaurants in the city, to and from your hotels and Convention site by tricycle cost 5.50. Chartering a tricycle should not cost more than P100 an hour. The average cost of one way trip from your place of accomodation ranges from P5.50 to P11 per person.
         It is more convenient to ride tricycles in groups of 2 to 4 persons. At times tricycle drivers are hesitant to transport one passenger because the fare rate is per person.
         Chartering shuttle Vans to and from the Convention site and your place of accommodation is also available
