This bulletin provides general information on the administrative arrangements in the participation of the Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) Regional Champions and their coaches to the PSQ National Finals.
When and where will the 2006 (15th) PSQ National Finals be held?

Who are the participants to the PSQ National Finals?
The PSQ Regional Steering Committee may require other documents from the contestants to ensure that he/she is qualified.
To reiterate, the PSQ is open to all Filipino first-time college freshmen currently enrolled in the second semester for the school year 2006-2007 in any recognized tertiary academic institution in the country. First-time college freshmen are those who have enrolled for not more than two semesters (or its equivalent term) in college.
Who shall finance and arrange the travel, accommodation, and allowances of the Regional Champions and Coaches to the National Finals?
The PSQ National Steering Committee, through the ARCS, shall provide for and arrange the travel, accommodation, and allowances of the regional champions and coaches from December 3 to 6, 2006.
The NSO RDs where the regional champions come from are requested to travel together with the regional champion and coach. For the regional champions and coaches, check-in time at the Bayview Park Hotel, Roxas Boulevard, Manila, where they will be billeted, starts at 2:00 pm on December 3, 2006 while check out time is at 12 noon on December 6, 2006.
For those coming by air transportation, the ARCS arranged the flight schedules. Plane tickets should be claimed at the Philippine Airlines (PAL) or Air Philippines ticket outlets in their province upon presentation of a valid identification card and the Record Locator Number. These numbers will be given to the RDs.
To facilitate these activities, the Provincial Statistical Officers (PSOs) where the regional champions come from should serve as the link between the regional champion and the NSO RD. Due to financial difficulties, only the NSO RD will accompany their respective contestant and coach to Manila.
The ARCS has arranged for the transport of the regional champions and their coaches starting December 3, 2006, from the domestic airport to the Bayview Park Hotel. Members of the ARCS shall meet them at the airport lobby (look for the 'PSQ' sign). Transportation from the hotel to the domestic airport on December 6, 2006 has also been arranged.
For those traveling by land, the expenses shall be reimbursed in Manila upon presentation of the bus ticket. They shall proceed to the Bayview Park Hotel and check-in at the hotel front desk.
Arrival of contestants and coaches to Manila should not be later than 12:00 noon of December 4, 2006 in time for the Orientation, which starts at 2:00 pm at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Assembly Hall.
Those who are planning to depart later than December 6, 2006 should make their own arrangements with the PAL or Air Philippines office and any expenses shall be from their own account.
Person/s accompanying the contestants, other than his/her official coach, shall not be the responsibility of the PSQ organizers.
