All contestants and their coaches must register with the PSQ regional organization using the prescribed procedures and application form on or before the given regional deadline. The PSQ regional organization will inform all qualified applicants of the date, time and place of the regional elimination.

The contestants shall have the following documents before the contest:

• PSQ Information Sheet with 1x1 b&w photo
• Certification of enrollment as a college entrant in the first semester of school year 1999-2000.
• Proof of enrollment for the second semester of SY 1999-2000.

All qualified/official contestants and their coaches must register prior to the official start of the contest program. Only those coaches who are properly registered will be allowed to make clarifications or raise questions during the contest proper.

Contestants and coaches will be issued official identification numbers for reference purposes.

Contestants may use scientific calculators during the contest proper. These should be properly registered with the PSQ Regional Steering Committee prior to the start of the contest.
