Supplies for the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture

 

  1. The NATIONAL STATISTICS OFFICE-REGIONAL OFFICE I (NSO-R I), through the authorized appropriations for fiscal year (FY) 2011 and 2012 (General Appropriations Act) intends to apply for eligibility and to bid through public bidding for the hereunder project:

  1. Bidders should have completed, within the last three years (2009 to 2011) prior to the deadline for the submission, a single contract similar to this Project equivalent to at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC per Lot.  The description of an eligible Bidder is contained in Section II of the Bidding Documents, Instructions to Bidders (ITB).
  1. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of RA 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.  Bidding is open to all interested Bidders subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the IRR of RA 9184.

  1. Interested Bidders may obtain further information from the RBAC Secretariat at tel. no. (072) 8882582 or (072) 8884804, inspect the Bidding Documents at 3/F Parammata Building C, Diversion Road, Sitio 5, Barangay Biday, San Fernando City, La Union starting July 23, 2012 anytime from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  The Bidding Documents may also be downloaded free of charge at PhilGEPS and NSO website, www.census.gov.ph. Only those Bidders who shall pay the nonrefundable fee in the amount stated above for the Bidding Documents can participate in the bidding. 
  1. The NSO-R I reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
