Planning, Management and Coordination Division
- Prepares technical plans and programs for the development and implementation of office policies and procedures regarding management matters;
- Organizes planning activities of the agency;
- Coordinates with NSO Departments, Regional Offices and other organic units of the agency on matters related to the implementation of the programs and projects of the Office;
- Consolidates agency plans and monitors the implementation of short and long-term plans and programs of the agency;
- Conducts studies for the improvement of management systems and procedures and makes policy recommendations;
- Evaluates workload analysis in coordination with the organic units as basis for allocation of resources;
- Develops and monitors compliance of standard procedure in the conduct of agency-sponsored fora and events;
- Devises monitoring system and provides feedback on the performance of field offices;
- Establishes internal audit plan, formulation of internal audit standards, guidelines and procedures;
- Conducts continuing research on internal control practices and standards applicable to the agency;
- Evaluates management performance of the SMDs/FOs;
- Conducts operation and financial audits and submit reports on the audit;
- Monitors the implementation or follow-up of actions on internal audit recommendations;
- Examination of control procedures and standards to determine their adequacy and propriety;
- Acts as Secretariat during Management meetings; and
- Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time.
