1. Prepares plans and programs for the improvement of generating vital statistics;
2. Prepares statistical tables, reports, special releases, studies and dissemination materials on vital statistics;
3. Receives and prepares files and documents for processing, issuance of current document certifications, document conversion and generation of vital statistics;
4. Coordinates with NSO Field Offices and other organic units of the agency on matters related to the functions of the division;
5. Monitors the implementation of decentralized computer systems and operations; and
6. Performs other functions as maybe assigned from time to time.
