          Civil Registration

The NSO is mandated by law to keep and preserve the birth, marriage and death certificates of a Filipino citizen. These certificates are the bases for establishing the legal status of each and every Filipino. These pages are intended to give the public a general picture of the Civil Registration procedures in the Philippines by providing answers to some of the most frequently asked questions (FAQ) on the subject.

The Role of NCR II in Civil Registration is primarily the collection of vital documents at the Quezon City Civil Registrar's Office.  However, due to the lack of manpower at the said office, the manual encoding of each documents are done here at NCR II.

Another function of this district is to coordinate civil registration activities within Quezon City.
