Quezon
City Project Task Force
As
one of the pilot city of the Unregistered Children Project, NCR II’s involvement
began in the late 2000, it was touch and go for a while but we have given our
commitments to a worthy project. We
took the initiative of forming a task force at the provincial level.
Initially, even without funding, our district continued to conduct
information dissemination on birth registration system and the UCP.
Though
with difficulty, we have managed and coordinated with other GOs/LGUs & NGOs to
come up with attainable plan of action. However,
these activities would have not reached the status we have attained if not for Ms.
Rose Trajano, the energetic Project Manager of UCP.
The
creation of the QCPTF is vital to this project as we believed that this would not
have materialize if not, for the contributions by following member of the task
force:
