            The tables presented here are preliminary results generated by the Civil Registry Information and Management Division (CRIMD) of the National Capital Regional Office.  Final results of the vital statistics report will be released by the NSO Civil Registration Division (CRD).

            Based on  Table 1, twenty one percent (21%) of births in the National Capital Region occurred and were registered in Quezon City.  Noticeably, There are more males being born both in NCR and QC. 

           However, in QC the age group 25-29 has the highest registered births compared to NCR where the age group 20-24 registered the highest births for the year 2001

Registered births by Month of Occurrence

  • The monthly occurrence of birth was highest in October with 6,749 or 11.02 percent of the total.  This was followed by November with 5,914 registered births.
  • On a daily basis, the month of October registered the highest daily average and January with the lowest registered births in terms of daily avearage.
