FINAL FOREIGN TRADE STATISTICS
JANUARY to DECEMBER 2011


This report presents the final monthly statistics on exports, imports and the resulting balance of trade in goods (BOT-G) for the Philippines for the year 2011.

Final export and import figures include documents that were received by the National Statistics Office after the cut-off dates. Table 1 shows a comparison of the preliminary and final series of exports for 2011 by month and Table 2, the preliminary and final series of imports by month for 2011. The resulting preliminary and final series of the BOT-G is shown in Table 3.

As shown in Table 1, the final export figure was recorded at US$48,305 million from US$48,042 million for the period January to December 2011. For the same period, the final value of total imports was US$60,496 million, an increase of US$352 million from US$60,144 million (Table 2). The resulting trade balance in goods (BOT-G) amounted to a deficit of US$12,191 million from the preliminary series of US$12,102 million deficit (Table 3).
