Supply and Delivery of CY 2010 Office Uniforms and Clothing Materials
- The NATIONAL STATISTICS OFFICE (NSO), through the FY 2010 Budget, (RA 9970), intends to apply the sum of SIX MILLION NINE HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR THOUSAND PESOS (PHP6.954 Million) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments for the hereunder project, and the ABC distributed as follows:

- Bidders shall have the option of submitting a proposal on any lot or two lots. If the Bidder opts to bid for the two lots, only one Eligibility Requirements shall be submitted. Evaluation and award of contract will be undertaken on a per Lot basis. Bids received in excess of the ABC per lot shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
- Bidders should have completed, within the last five (5) years prior to the deadline for the submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project equivalent to at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC per lot. The description of an Eligible Bidder is contained in Section II of the Bidding Documents, Instruction to Bidders (ITB).
- Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of RA 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. Bidding is open to all interested Bidders subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the IRR of RA 9184.

- Interested Bidders may obtain further information from the BAC Secretariat at tel. no.713-7089 or 713-6071, inspect the Bidding Documents at 4/F Solicarel Bldg I, Ramon Magsaysay Blvd., Sta. Mesa, Manila, starting April 12, 2010 anytime from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Bidding Documents may also be downloaded free of charge at PhilGEPS and NSO website, www.census.gov.ph. Only those Bidders who shall pay the nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents can participate in the bidding.
- The NSO reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
