Procurement of Customized USB Flash Drive

1. The NATIONAL STATISTICS OFFICE (NSO), through the General Appropriations Act, FY 2013 Budget (RA 10155), intends to apply the sum of One Million Nine Hundred Sixty Thousand  Pesos (PHP1.96Million) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments for the hereunder project, as follows:

Bidders should have completed, within the last three years (2010-2012) prior to the deadline for the submission and receipt of bids, a single contract similar to this Project equivalent to at least twenty-five percent (25%) of the ABC per Lot. The description of an Eligible Bidder is contained in Section II of the Bidding Documents, Instruction to Bidders (ITB).
    
3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of RA 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. Bidding is open to all interested Bidders subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the IRR of RA 9184.

4. Interested Bidders may obtain further information from the BAC Secretariat at tel. no.713-7089 or 713-6071, inspect the Bidding Documents at 4/F Solicarel Bldg I, Ramon Magsaysay Blvd., Sta. Mesa, Manila, starting 14 February 2013 anytime from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Bidding Documents may also be downloaded free of charge at PhilGEPS and http://www.census.gov.ph/procurement. Only those Bidders who shall pay the nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents can participate in the bidding.
    
5. The NSO reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
