Provision of Security Services
- The NATIONAL STATISTICS OFFICE (NSO), intends to apply the sum of Twenty-Five Million Pesos (P25,000,000.00) through the authorized budget for year 2013 being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) for the first year only of the hereunder project:

- Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
- The duration of the contract to be bid shall be for the period stated above renewable every year for a maximum of three (3) years subject to annual evaluation based on a set of performance criteria.
- Bidders should have completed a contract, within the last five (5) years (2007 to 2012) in undertaking frontline security services with an amount of at least 50% of the ABC. The description of an eligible Bidder is contained in Section II of the Bidding Documents, Instructions to Bidders (ITB).
- Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of RA 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. Bidding is open to all interested Bidders subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the IRR of RA 9184.
- Interested Bidders may obtain further information from the BAC Secretariat at tel. no. 713-6071 or 713-7089, inspect the Bidding Documents at 4/F Solicarel Bldg I, Ramon Magsaysay Blvd., Sta. Mesa, Manila, starting March 18, 2013 anytime from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Bidding Documents may also be downloaded free of charge at PhilGEPS and NSO website, www.census.gov.ph/procurement.
- Only those Bidders who shall pay the nonrefundable fee in the amount of PhP 25,000.00 for the Bidding Documents can participate in the bidding. The schedule is as follows:

- The NSO reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
