The province of Nueva Vizcaya had a total population of 397,837 persons as of August 1, 2007, an increase of 8.4 percent from 366,962 persons in 2000. This increase translated to an annual population growth rate (PGR) of 1.12 percent during the period 2000 to 2007, or 0.85 percentage point lower than the recorded PGR of 1.97 percent for the period 1995 to 2000.
