The year-on-year headline inflation rate at the national level slowed down to 4.8 percent in November from 5.2 percent in October. This was effected by the slower annual increases in food and non-alcoholic beverages; housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels; furnishing, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house; health; transport; and education indexes and the decrease in the annual rate posted in communication index. Inflation a year ago was 3.7 percent.
