Export earnings in April 2011 amounted to $4.300 billion, a 19.1 percent increment from $3.612 billion recorded in April of 2010. However, compared to previous month level, it went down slightly by 1.2 percent from $4.353 billion in March 2011. Meanwhile, receipts from merchandise exports during January to April of 2011 grew by 10.6 percent to $16.519 billion from $14.943 billion during the same period a year earlier.

Export earnings in June 2011 went down by 10.2 percent from $4.557 billion to $4.092 billion recorded during the same period of the previous year. Month-on-month, it fell by 0.4 percent from $4.108 billion in May 2011.

Total receipts from merchandise exports during January to June grew by 4.1 percent to $24.721 billion from $23.741 billion during the same period a year earlier.

Export earnings in September 2011 went down by 27.4 percent from $5.341 billion to $3.876 billion recorded during the same period of the previous year. Month-on-month, it fell by 6.0 percent from $4.123 billion in August 2011.

Total receipts from merchandise exports during January to September declined by 3.1 percent from $38.362 billion to $37.185 billion during the same period a year earlier.
