The country’s annual headline inflation further slowed down to 2.6 percent in April from 3.2 percent in March.

Year-on-year headline inflation in the Philippines decelerated to 3.2 percent in March from 3.4 percent in February.

The country’s year-on-year headline inflation rate jumped to 3.4 percent in February from 3.0 percent in January.

The year started off with a higher national headline inflation rate of 3.0 percent from 2.9 percent in December.
