Value of Production sustains growth in November 2010
On a year-on-year basis, Value of Production Index (VaPI) for total manufacturing inched further to 8.4 percent in November 2010 from the 7.6 percent growth recorded the previous month, according to the preliminary results of the Monthly Integrated Survey of Selected Industries (MISSI). Thirteen major sectors reported increases in production value, led by textiles, with a growth of 59.8 percent.
